Scotland Cricketer Con de Lange Passes Away


Scotland's Cricketer Con Lange died on Friday (April 19th) at the age of 38 due to brain tumors. De Lang was born in Bellevue, South Africa, and played for Cape Cobra before moving to Northamptonshire in England.

He made his international debut for Scotland in a T20I against Ireland in 2015 and he made his ODI debut against Afghanistan the following year. Overall, he played 13 ODIs and eight T20Is, and combined 24 wickets.

A left hand spinner, De LaGange's name is 91 first-class matches and 144 is a list of games.

De Lange played his last international match in November 2017 against Papua New Guinea in one-dayers.

In October last year, Cricket Scotland had revealed through a press release that De Longe had been suffering from brain tumors for the past 10 months. D Lang was undergoing various forms of medical treatment, the Cricket Board also started raising money.
