IPL 2019: Chennai Super Kings - Five Players To Watch Out

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2018 final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to capture their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title. Captain MS Dhoni's return to the franchise came very frenzy and Dhoni forwarded the love given by him to another title for Chennai. However, for the IPL 2019 Super Kings, it can not run like last season. Many of Chennai's main stars are at the end of their career, and while some of them like Shane Watson performed last year, this may prove to be true against this time. However, CSK can never be counted, especially with Dhoni, but they will need to make their old stars actually perform in IPL 2019.

M S Dhoni:

Some of the best news for CSK is MS Dhoni's excellent form in international cricket. Former India captain had scored only 275 runs in 20 ODIs in 2018. But in 2019, Dhoni proved his worth for the team and silenced his critics with some spectacular performances from the bat. 37-year-old man was awarded Man of the Series award after batting with India's historic one-day series win over Australia.

In the last season, Dhoni did some fantastic performances in the IPL 2018, finished the tournament with a sensational average of 75.83. CSK captain scored 455 runs in 18 matches with a strike rate of 150.66, including three half-centuries. He played 11 catches and three stumpings in his name and played an important role in the title of March in Chennai.

Ambati Rayudu:

Ambati Rayudu's form can make or break CSK's season. Raidu was crucial for CSK, he won the IPL 2018 as the fourth highest run scorer. After spending eight seasons in Mumbai Indians, Raidu was bought by Dhoni-led CSK for Rs 2.20 crore. Rayudu, who never touched the 400-run mark in his last 10 seasons, scored 433 runs in 43 matches, scoring 602 runs at an average of 43. He increased the strike rate of 149.75 against the IPL in 2019 with a century and three fifties.

Rayudu has done well in international cricket too. After poor performance in the ODI series in Australia, where he scored 24 runs in two games, 33-year-old New Zealand returned in ODIs with some extraordinary batting, which India won 4-1. This right-handed player finished the ODI series as a player who scored a run of 190 runs in five matches with an average of 63.33.

Kedar Jadhav:

Kedar Jadhav was one of the players who retweeted for the Super Kings in spite of playing just one match for the team in the last season. In 2017, Jadhav, representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore, was bought by CSK for Rs. 7.80 crore for the 2018 edition. However, due to the hamstring injury during the first match, the Indian international team was excluded from the IPL 2018. However, whenever the opportunity was received, Jadhav has performed well for India in recent times.

Jadhav has so far played 65 matches for five matches in IPL, in which he scored 917 runs at a strike rate of 134.06. In the 2010 edition, Jadhav was part of Delhi Daredevils. In 2011, the right hand represented Kochi Tuskers Kerala. From 2013 to 2015 Jadhav played for Delhi Daredevils and his 2016-17 tenure was with RCB.

Dwayne Bravo:

Dwayne Bravo has been consistently performing well for Chennai Super Kings for years and has made significant contributions to the team before and after the CSK ban. However, the West Indies got 35 years old and did not have time to play regularly under his belt. Bravo is currently playing in the Big Bash League and is far below his best for the Melbourne Stars, who still managed to reach the semi-finals.

Bravo has been in the hands of Bravo, who scored 142 runs in 14 matches at an average of 15.77. He has been slightly better with the ball in hand, taking 14 wickets in many matches at an economy rate of 7.97.

Ravindra Jadeja:

Ravindra Jadeja is finding it difficult to join the Indian team, most of the time during the playing XI, during the call-up, when someone else is injured. However, whenever called, Jadeja stood up and completed the job. While they have not had many opportunities for India in recent times, but they are key members of the CSK organization.

Jadeja has played 154 matches in the Indian Premier League, in which he has scored 1,821 runs and 93 wickets shocks. His presence in the field also brings a big change.
