IPL 2019 | New Zealand Yet to Come to Terms With Christchurch Attack

New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult said on Thursday that his countrymen are still coming to terms with the terror attacks on two mosques in Christchurch, in which 50 people were killed.

The attack took place on 15th March and the New Zealand Test match was called against Bangladesh starting next day.

During the Delhi Capital Promotional Event, Bolt said, "It was an emotional week for all of us in New Zealand, it was tragic and people are still coming in the context of terrorist attacks, it will take some time."

On being asked whether he spoke to the Bangladesh team, after being attacked by one of the attacking mosques, Bolt said, "Unfortunately, he left for the house the next day and I did not get the chance to speak, but I am glad they were safe and returned home safely. "

On controversy after Jos Buttler's Ravichandran Ashwin's 'Munking' in a IPL match, Bolt chose to clarify the matter.

"It's in the rules and it matters." It's interesting, though. "He said.

In England's World Cup starting May 30, Boult will be an integral part of New Zealand's attack, but looking at the busy IPL schedule, there is no more worry about workload management.

Black Caps Pacer said, "Right now my focus is to do well for Delhi in IPL, I am not thinking too much about workload and focusing. The team is in a good position and a happy place."

However, Kagiso Rabada of Boult's South African team admitted that the World Cup is in his mind.

"But I have decided to take a match at a time (Delhi Capitol) I have not been discussed with the team management, but if I feel stiffness or sorrow, I will definitely be careful. Call will be done. " Rabada said.
